1. **Use a TikTok Business Account**: Zinochat works with TikTok Business Accounts. If you use a personal account, switch the account type in TikTok's settings.
2. **Log in to TikTok**: In Zinochat, choose the TikTok connection, log in, and allow every permission TikTok asks for.
3. **Activate your account**: Select the account you just connected and click Activate. Each TikTok account is its own connection.
4. **Add your shop data**: Add your product catalog and documents such as delivery and return policies, then test the bot in the sandbox.
5. **Turn the bot on**: Assign the bot to your TikTok account under Connections, and turn on comment auto-hide if you want it.

Zinochat receives comments on public posts. TikTok direct messages are not supported yet.

## What TikTok allows, and what it does not yet

- **Only TikTok Business Accounts** can connect, and Zinochat receives comments on **public posts** only.
- **Comments can arrive up to 5 minutes late**: TikTok can take that long to report a new comment.
- **Replies are text**, up to 1,200 characters. Photos cannot be sent in a comment.
- **You can delete only your shop's comments.** Customer comments can only be hidden, and no comment can be edited once posted.
- **Direct messages are not supported yet.** You keep answering them in the TikTok app.
